Leave a Kingdom Legacy
The North Trenholm Baptist Church Foundation was formed in 1997 to give people an opportunity to make a gift for the long-term benefit of NTBC and its ministries. Contributions are invested in secure long-term investments and the income will be used to advance and glorify the Kingdom of God.
A six-member Board of Managers, elected by the church membership, supervises the Foundation for a three-year term with no compensation. They serve a fiduciary role in managing and investing the Foundation’s assets and are expressly prohibited from spending the gifts to the Foundation. The Board of Managers may only use the income earned from the investments for the mission of the church while protecting the principal amounts invested. Each year, the Board of Managers reviews the earnings from the Foundation’s investments and determines where these funds can best benefit NTBC and its ongoing ministries.
The Tree of Life exists to give a way for those who desire to honor or remember someone special to leave a  special thank you in a lasting and tangible. The tree features bronze and gold leaves inscribed with the name or names of those honored or memorialized and other information discussed with the one making a gift. For a gift to the Foundation of $1,000, a bronze leaf will be inscribed and for a $3,000 gift, a gold leaf will be done. Anyone making a gift to the Foundation of $5,000 or more can advise the Board of Managers concerning how the interest earned on their gift will be used in support of the church.
